Research • Documentation • Transparency

Built around evidence, not hype.

Salt & Pepper Labs is building a research-first platform centered on clear product identity, batch documentation, independent testing awareness, and straightforward information.

What matters

Three standards we want to make visible.

Good research sourcing is more than a product name on a vial. Documentation, traceability, and testing context matter.

01 — Identity

Know what the product is.

Clear naming, strength information, batch or lot references, and consistent labeling help reduce ambiguity.

02 — Evidence

Read the testing critically.

A COA is most useful when the lab, date, batch connection, method, and result can be understood and verified.

03 — Traceability

Connect the vial to the record.

Batch-specific documentation is stronger than a generic report that cannot be tied to the material being referenced.

Transparency

What we look for in testing.

Named independent laboratory when available.
Clear test date and report identifiers.
Lot or batch relationship that can be explained.
Analytical method and interpretable results.

Documentation should answer questions.

Our goal is to make research records easier to understand instead of hiding behind a logo or a single screenshot.
